Supporters Clubs - Who And How To Get In Contact.
Burnley Football Club are proud to boast about their fans, who travel the length and breadth of the country to watch the team. The Club also have plenty of supporters' clubs, based not only in Lancashire, but around the country as well. These official branches often run trips to games, have meetings, nights out, sponsor matches and generally support the club in any which way they can.
Most of the clubs are based in and around east Lancashire, but if you live a little further afield, then there are several other supporters' clubs you could choose from.
Burnley Football Supporters Club is a general club based in the town, whose membership is open to all who believe claret and blue. The club is run by a committee whose chairman is Barrie Oliver. If you live anywhere in the 'A6 Corridor,' and follow Burnley, then why not join the Central Lancs Clarets. The Central Lancs Clarets run coaches from the South Lakes (Carnforth, Barrow) all the way down to Wigan, so a large area is covered. The Barrowford Clarets are run by Peter Shuttleworth whose number is 01282 619888.
Any supporters who live in the nearby town of Earby could sign up to become members of the Earby Clarets. Tony Riley is the person to speak to regarding that club and he can be found on 01282 844179 or the Chairman John Little on 01282 844255.
The Shooters Arms Clarets are based in the aforementioned establishment in Nelson. For social events, tickets and travel call 0797 2626 366.
Gordon Clarets are now based at Nelson Poultry Club. The evening telephone number on the site is the number for the Poultry club so that can remain. The club is open weekday evenings from 7-30pm until 12-00pm and all day Saturday and Sunday from 12-00am to 12-00pm.Their contact details are as follows : Andy Metcalfe on 01282-612873 (evenings).
The Clarets Independent Supporters Association is a quite a large organisation and if you fancy becoming a member, then Angus Williamson is the person to contact and you can speak to him on 01204 494600.

Steve Hodge runs the West Yorkshire Clarets, a Leeds based branch serving Leeds and the surrounding towns. The group meet monthly moving the meetings around the county, organise travel to matches and car sharing and have a five-a-side team which play competitively on a Monday evening. Craven Clarets meet on the first Monday of every month (7.30pm) at the Devonshire pub on Newmarket Street, Skipton. Ulster Clarets is for all the Burnley fans who are in Northern Ireland. Burnley have many links with clubs in this region and Roger Bell is the ideal person to get in touch with if you are keen on joining the Ulster Clarets.
