Claret And You!
Burnley Football Club has a rich and proud tradition.
As a founder member of the Football League in 1882, the club has a unique standing in the English game.

And in 2007 we rightly come together to celebrate the 125th anniversary of becoming a professional football club.
It promises to be a year of inclusive celebration and that is why we have carefully put together this season ticket package specifically for you.
'Claret and You' is not just about Burnley Football Club. It is about a great partnership. We can't achieve anything without you, the loyal and valued supporter.
Supporting Burnley Football Club is about being claret and blue through and through.
But most of all, it's about 'Claret and You'.
Burnley's 2007/08 season ticket package, detailed below, places the emphasis on helping those people who, in the past, may have struggled to afford the rising cost of football.
Overall, we have tried to keep price increases to a minimum and some match day prices have even been frozen or reduced. However, inevitably there are some price increases and this year there are also some changes to the way we determine the price an individual supporter should pay.
There is also an important message for Jimmy McIlroy Stand lower tier season ticket holders.
Season tickets are now on sale, with supporters able to buy in person, on the phone and via the internet. All current season ticket holders will imminently receive a full pack through the post.
Non-season ticket holders can also request a pack, either in person at the ticket office or over the phone on 0870 443 1914.

Match day pricing
Adult match day prices will increase by £1 per game, with most other prices held at last year's rates or, in the case of 16-18's, reduced.
Season ticket prices
Most adult and senior citizen prices rise by under £20, or less than £1 per game. Overall, we believe that we offer a good value season ticket for Championship football, with the added possibility of watching Premiership football for free.
Jimmy McIlroy Stand (upper tier)
Last season, family season ticket prices in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (upper tier) were pegged at the previous season's level. This policy will continue, so a family buying their seats together in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (upper tier) will pay the published 2006/7 prices for their season tickets.
Jimmy McIlroy Stand (lower tier)
Due to the continuing deterioration in the condition of the David Fishwick (Cricket Field) Stand, and the possibility that we will need to perform extensive maintenance to this area, we cannot guarantee this stand will be available to visiting supporters for the whole of the 2007/8 season. After consultation with the police and our ground safety advisors, the best alternative location for these supporters is considered to be the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (lower tier).
Season tickets in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (lower tier) will therefore only be sold to existing season ticket holders on the basis that supporters may need to vacate this area for all, or part of the season.
In the event that supporters are asked to move, the club will upgrade season tickets for this area to the James Hargreaves Stand lower tier, free of charge.
16 to 18 Prices
Over the last few seasons, 16 to 18-year-old supporters have paid the same as adults for match day tickets. In 2007/8, we will charge £2 less per game for this section of supporters, so on a match by match basis, they will pay £1 per match less than in the 2006/7 season, subject to proof of age at the time of purchase.
Under-16 Prices
All under-16 prices for 2007/8 are pegged at 2006/7 prices and, in addition, we will continue our policy that all season ticket holders aged seven and under will receive a free replica shirt as part of the season ticket package, subject to proof of age at the time of purchase.
Age concessions
To qualify for an age-related concession, age on 1st August, 2007 will determine whether the supporter qualifies for the concession or not. (For example, to qualify for a 16-18 concession, the supporter must be 18 or under on 1st August, 2007). Note that in order to qualify for a concessionary price, the supporter must provide proof of age in person at the ticket office.
Membership Scheme
Young supporters who wish to take advantage of the better prices listed above are advised to take advantage of our new free membership scheme as an easy way to obtain their discount. Just take a current passport-sized photograph and proof of age along to the ticket office and you will be given your membership card.
Senior Citizens age limit
Senior citizens who already receive an age-related discounted season ticket will continue to receive that concession. However, to fall in line with the Government's harmonisation of the retirement age, supporters must be 65 or over on 1st August, 2007 to qualify for the senior citizens discount for the first time.
Disabled supporters
In line with advice from the Football League, disabled supporters will pay the full applicable price for their season ticket (ie: adult, senior citizen, 16-18 or U16). Registered level 1 disabled supporters requiring a helper will receive an additional season ticket for the helper, free of charge.
No Smoking
In line with Government legislation and Football League guidelines, there will be no smoking within the confines of the Turf Moor stadium as from 1st July, 2007.
Early Bird discount
Early Bird season ticket prices quoted are guaranteed for all supporters who purchase on or before the season ticket deadline of close of business on Monday, 30th April 2007. This season the deadline will be strictly enforced to ensure that those supporters who take the time to renew before the deadline get the best possible deal.

Payment by credit and debit card
An issue that has become more and more important for the club over the last couple of years is payment by credit and debit card for season tickets.
As a supporter you would expect the money you are paying to go straight into the club's bank account to help budget for the season ahead.
Instead, if you pay by credit card or certain types of debit card, we either have to pay an insurance premium (on top of the normal card margin) to ensure we receive the money immediately, or accept payment from the card management company in stages throughout the season.
This has a massive impact on the finances of the club, so we respectfully ask that you do not pay by credit or Visa debit card.
Naturally, we will not stop supporters paying this way for season tickets; all we ask is that, if possible, you choose another mode of payment.
You will see that we have a three-month payment scheme and a 10-month payment scheme administered by Premium Credit. Please consider these as alternatives, or pay by cash or cheque if you are able to.
If, after you have read the above, you still feel you want to pay by credit or debit card, then please do so as Burnley Football Club values your continued support and looks forward to welcoming you to Turf Moor again next season.
However, you should be aware that we do need to re-introduce charges for payment by credit card and certain debit cards to compensate for the costs we incur.
The charges for 2007/8 will be:
(Visa Debit and Credit cards and Mastercard Credit Cards)
Adult tickets - £15 per season ticket
Concessions - £10 per season ticket
Under 16 - no charge
Maestro Debit Cards (inc Switch and Solo cards), cheques and cash - no charge
