We at Burnley Football Club can see a bright new dawn.

The exciting and futuristic multi-million pound re-development of Turf Moor will leave the club ready to grab new opportunities.

On the pitch, new manager Owen Coyle is meticulously shaping a sunny future.

Now, the Clarets want to reach out to all fans - and a new generation of supporters through the 2008/09 Season Ticket package.

We can unveil plans to offer children under eight a FREE season ticket to Turf Moor next season.

In a separate offer, families with two or more children aged eight and over can claim one free season ticket.

Early bird prices for 16 to 18-year-olds have been reduced for next season, with all other season ticket prices FROZEN at 2007/8 levels.

We are also looking to introduce a new singing section, where supporters of a like-mind can sit together and raise the roof!

Should we not make the Premiership at the end of the current campaign, we have again vowed to continue the successful and groundbreaking Burnley FC Premier League Pledge, ensuring season ticket holders receive a FREE ticket once top flight football is achieved.

Of course, the Burnley FC Premiership Pledge could still be activated this coming summer if the Clarets can turn a determined play off push into a promotion winning campaign.

However, with the future still unclear at the launch of the 2008/09 season ticket campaign, all supporters are respectfully being asked to purchase tickets for next season with a promise of a full refund should Premiership football be achieved.

We believe this package offers supporters unrivalled value for money. Our prices remain among the lowest around and the attraction for under eights is FREE football at a Championship - maybe even a Premiership venue!

Season tickets went on sale on FRIDAY, MARCH 14, with supporters able to buy in person, on the phone and via the internet.

All current season ticket holders should now have received a full pack through the post. Non-season ticket holders can also request a pack, either in person at the ticket office or over the phone on 0871 221 1914.

JHL: James Hargreaves Lower tier
JMU: Jimmy McIlroy Upper tier (Family Stand)
JML: Jimmy McIlory Lower tier

Match Day Pricing 2008/09
Adult and age concession match day prices will increase by £1
Under-16 match day prices are held at 2007/8 prices
16-18 match day ticket prices have been reduced by £1

Jimmy McIIroy Lower Tier
Due to the continuing deterioration in the condition of the David Fishwick (Cricket Field) Stand, and the possibility that we will need to do some work in this area, or start work on the new 'auditorium-style' stand, we cannot guarantee that this stand will be available to visiting supporters for the whole of the 2008/9 season. After consultation with the police and our ground safety advisors, the best alternative location for these supporters is considered to be the Jimmy McIlroy lower tier.
Season tickets in the Jimmy McIlroy lower tier will therefore be only sold on the basis that supporters may need to vacate this area for all or part of the season.
In the event that supporters are asked to move, the club will upgrade season tickets for this area to the James Hargreaves lower tier free of charge.

Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier
Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier Supporters are reminded that new season tickets and matchday tickets are sold in this area on a '1+1' basis only, i.e. adults must be accompanied by junior supporter.

Age Concessions
To qualify for an age-related concession, age at the beginning of the season will now determine whether the supporter qualifies for the concession or not. (EG: to qualify for a 16-18 concession, the supporter must be 18 or under on 9th August 2008). In order to qualify for any concessionary price, the supporter must provide proof of age in person at the ticket office.

Senior Citizens Age Limit
Senior citizens who already receive an age-related discounted season ticket will continue to receive that concession. However, to fall in line with the government's harmonization of the retirement age, supporters must be 65 or older on 9th August 2008 to qualify for the senior citizens discount for the first time.

Disabled Supporters' Prices
In line with advice from the Football League, disabled supporters will pay the full applicable price for their season ticket (i.e. adult, senior citizen, 16-to-18 or under-16), but those supporters who need a helper will receive an additional season ticket for the helper free of charge. Each case will be assessed individually and you may asked to provide proof that you need a helper.

Smoking
In line with government legislation and Football League guidelines, there is no smoking within the confines of the Turf Moor stadium.
Please note that the club is obliged by law to take action against supporters who smoke within the stadium and could be fined if the problem is not addressed. The club therefore reserves the right to cancel the season ticket of any supporter who persistently flouts the law in this way.

Burnley FC Premier League Pledge
Supporters should be aware that they will be asked to purchase their season ticket for the following season to guarantee their seat and enable the club to continue to trade throughout the closed season.
All season ticket holders who then qualify for a free season ticket under the pledge will receive a full refund of all monies paid prior to the start of the relevant Premiership season.

Free Season Tickets for Under-8s
These tickets are only available in the Family Stand (Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier), are only sold in conjunction with a full adult season ticket and are not upgradeable or transferable on a match by match basis. The child must be registered as a Junior Claret and proof of age must be provided at the ticket office.

Reduced Price 16-18 season tickets
These tickets are only available in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand (Lower Tier) and are not transferable or upgradeable on a match by match basis. Young supporters who wish to take advantage of these prices must obtain a free membership by taking in a passport sized photograph and proof of age to the ticket office.

Second Child Free Offer
These tickets are only available in the Family Stand and are not available with any other offer (eg: the 'Under-8s free ticket offer' as detailed above). They are not transferable or upgradeable on a match by match basis. Both children must be under 16 on 8th August 2008. In the event that the children fall into different price categories, the cheaper price will be discounted. Only one free child ticket per family group under this offer. We defined a family group as "a group including at least one person under 16 buying tickets for adjoining seats and paying in one transaction from one bank account".
All children in the group must be registered as Junior Clarets and proof of age must be provided.

Singing Section
Tickets will be sold for blocks two and three of the James Hargreaves Stand (Upper Tier). Supporters currently holding tickets in these sections who wish to move elsewhere can do so by contacting the ticket office before May 1, 2008. We will happily look to accommodate those wishing to move after this date, but supporters should note that all seats will then be on general sale.
Supporters should note that the club is forced to adhere to Football League regulations, which state that fans are encouraged not to stand in seated areas. The club has no option but to enforce these rules, meaning that persistent standing can lead to ejection.

-Monday to Friday, 9:15 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note that, on match days, we will do our best to process your renewal, but queues build up in the hour or so before kick off, so we would advise you to arrive as soon as possible to avoid delays and frustration.

By telephone
Call 0871 221 1914 and our contact centre staff will take you through the renewal process, including your Premium Credit application if you wish. Please have your renewal pack(s) handy for reference.

Via the internet
Simply log on to www.burnleyfc.com, click "tickets" and then "tickets online". You will need to register if you have not already done so. Please note there will be a £15 credit card charge when renewing an adult season ticket online. Any match tickets purchased through the internet will also incur a £1 administration fee (per transaction). Juveniles or concessions are advised to call in at the ticket office or post their applications to avoid the unnecessary credit card charge which does not apply to these categories.

By post
Complete the renewal form and send it with your payment to:
Season Tickets, Burnley FC, Harry Potts Way, Burnley, Lancs., BB10 4BX.

Payment Methods
We accept payment:
- in cash (but not through the post please),
- by cheque
- via Premium Credit over a period of 3 months or 10 months
- by credit or debit card (subject to a handling charge to cover our
costs)

Payment by credit and debit card
As a supporter you would expect the money you are paying to go straight into the club's bank account to help budget for the season ahead. Instead, if you pay by credit card or certain types of debit card, we either have to pay an insurance premium (on top of the normal card margin) to ensure that we receive the money immediately, or accept payment from the card management company in stages throughout the season.
This has a massive impact on the finances of the club, so we ask that you do not pay by credit or visa debit card.
We will not stop supporters paying this way for season tickets; all we ask is that, if possible, you choose another mode of payment. You will see that we have a three-month payment scheme and a 10-month payment scheme administered by Premium Credit. Please consider these as alternatives, or pay by cash or cheque if you are able to.
If, after you have read the above, you still feel you want to pay by credit or debit card, then please do so as Burnley Football Club values your continued support and looks forward to welcoming you to Turf Moor again next season. However, you should be aware that we do need to charge for payment by credit card and certain debit cards to compensate for the costs we incur.

The charges for 2008/9 will be:

(Visa Debit and Credit cards and Mastercard Credit Cards)
Adult tickets - £15 per season ticket
Concessions - £10 per season ticket
Under 16 - no charge
Maestro Debit Cards (inc Switch and Solo cards) - no charge
Cheques and cash - no charge
