Burnley Football Club can confirm their intention to play three pre-season games in Scotland this summer.

The Clarets' first opponents will be Scottish Cup finalists Queen of the South on Saturday, July 19. Kick off at the Palmerston Park ground in Dumfries will be 3pm.

Next up is a game at Partick Thistle on Monday, July 21, with a 7.30pm kick off at Firhill.

The Burnley squad will then wrap up their mini tour with a game at Owen Coyle's and Sandy Stewart's former club St Johnstone on Wednesday, July 23, with a 7.30pm kick off.

Burnley are already scheduled to travel to Accrington Stanley on Saturday, July 26, (3pm kick off), before crossing the Pennines to take on Bradford City on Tuesday 29^th July for a friendly game which kicks off at 7.45pm.
